Founder Uganda Teens Magazine Eddie Nahwera meets Rino and Julie Solberg to discuss about Strengthening Teen Empowerment Through Strategic Partnerships.
KAMPALA. The founder of Uganda Teens Magazine today met with Madam Julie Solberg and Mr. Rino Solberg to discuss potential collaborations focused on empowering teenagers through innovation, mentorship, and sustainable development.
According to Eddie Nahwera,founder Uganda Teens Magazine, the meeting was deeply inspiring, as both Julie and Rino Solberg have demonstrated a long-standing commitment to youth empowerment. They reportedly exchanged ideas on how to elevate the impact of Uganda Teens Magazine, with the goal of making it a truly national platform that enables young people from all corners of Uganda—not just the Kigezi region—to express themselves, learn, connect, and grow.
Eddie Nahwera also introduced an upcoming initiative titled BINGWA, which means "champion" in Swahili. He explained that the program is aimed at helping teens understand their potential and equipping them with the mindset and tools to become leaders and changemakers in their communities. The vision is to nurture a generation of confident, skilled, and socially responsible youth.
He expressed profound gratitude to the Solberg family for their unwavering support from the very beginning. Their encouragement, he said, has been instrumental in his journey and has helped him take bold steps toward realizing his vision.
Looking to the future, Eddie Nahwera emphasized that Uganda Teens Magazine is committed to building impactful partnerships grounded in purpose and passion, all with the shared mission of uplifting the next generation.
